Hi, I've had a few issues recently on my touch where I've either been doing an app update via the touch appstore, or doing some kind of search in appstore. Basically the touch then refuses to run any games I've bought, so I turn the touch off

when I try to switch it back on it just stays on the apple logo.

No problem I thought, as I've taken regular backups via itunes. So after forcing the touch into restore mode, I've restored the factory settings, then try to select one of my backups.

However, everytime it keeps says the backup is either corrupt or not compatible with the current device !

This has happened to me 3 times since I've had 2.02

Any guesses why ? I've made sure the backups have finished when it's taking them. Are Itunes backups effected by AV or Vista

What's the point of having a backup/restore procedure if it doesn't work ! It means I have to resync everything back then resetup my mail/icon settings etc. Very annoying. Is there anyway to go back to 2.01 ?

    cheers
