Okay, today alone ive restored my iPod 4 times
    problems im still getting are
    -random reboots while syncing
    -freezing keyboard
    -freezing installer

Combinations tried (before i jailbreaked with ZiPhone 2.6b):
    DFU mode + naming ipod
    Restore + naming ipod
    Restore + unname ipod

Also ive tried ipodtouchmaster's hard jailbreak, thats actually when the rebooting started

    EDIT:
    i forgot to metion:
I've tried jailbreaking with TWO different comps, switched USB ports constantly

    EDIT:
okay.... ziphone stopped working for one of my computers
i click on jailbreak ipod touch
the process says "Started process ziphone.exe with argument: -Z I"
and... it stops, it doesnt say anything
doesnt say failed to find ipod touch/iphone
ive ended all previous process of ziphone before i start a new one

    im pretty tired about this
so far does anyone else have the random reboot problem?
having your iPod rebooting 4 times while syncing is not fun...

any kind of help is appreciated...

What is the first thing you do after the jailbreak?

opened the installer to check if i can add sources
once that tests been passed, i try to refresh
after that test, i scroll up and down in categorys (i got an installer froze when i did that once lol)
then after that, i close installer (3 times my installer froze when i pressed home)

IF all those tests pass (only passed like twice)
    I sync my ipod
and ofcourse... none of the trials passed the anti-reboot test lol
    then back to restore

I've done this so much now i have my system.... thats really sad

As soon as the jailbreak is done do a restart. Turn on and go to the installer, it should ask if you want to update and choose yes. Then install community sources and refresh. Install BSD Subsystem and when complete install OpenSSH. Then install BossTool and BossPrefs and when done move your fonts, ringtones, apps. Install SUID Lib Fix and then whatever else you need.

would installing these things help me with unfreezing keyboard/installer?

    Edit

actually i think installing the new version of Installer would help
but i dont have wifi access right now, cant do that, but ill guess ill lay my finger off the installer icon till i can access wifi

theres still the rebooting problem (the main problem)

You need to do them before you do whatever else you are doing. Most of those are critical to it working properly!

    i was like you too...

    Firts....
    Use for restore 1.1.2
connect your ipod in restore mode and detected with itunes...
    close itunes
    open last version of ziphone
    click in dfu mode
open iTunes and restore using 1.1.2
(if your iPod restar and cannot restore do this....when is extracting files do click again in dfu mode in ziphone in that moment before the extracting finish)

    Second...
for jailbreak if you have 16gb or 32gb click in nvram (wait to finish)
and el click in jailbreak (iPod touch ICON)......
and never disconnect from Computer when is working and the iPod/iPhone going to restar some times, and when all has been finish check your board there are the installer icon app

    "sorry my sucks english"

Why in the world would you restore to 1.1.2? You need to restore to 1.1.4
