restored ipod touch but still has jailbreak signs

    restored ipod touch but still has jailbreak signs; Beside battery sign is presented battery persentage, when connected to WiFi the icon it's not bars but it says -42 or -73 or -52 etc. and My name is still on the carrier place
    please help

    DFU Restore.

    when you restored did you restore from back up after
    this can cause things like MIM to still show a different carrier message!!!

    restore again and set it up as a new iPod, don't restore from a backup

    i had the same problem when i was updating to 3.0 with my ipod touch 2g... when i updated from jailbroken 2.2.1 firmware, the mim still stayed and some of my apps wouldn't work. Just restore it again to the original unjailbroken firmware and all of the jailbroken remnants will go away

    Put it into DFU Mode.
    There's a great video tutorial here.

    Restore in iTunes.
    When it is done restoring, be sure not to check the box that says Restore From Backup: XXX iPod.

    Click Set Up As New iPod.

    You should be good to go.

    I just went to Settings>General>Reset>Reset All Settings.
    That was way easier
