Okay so I recently updaterd my firmware to 2.2.1 and restored my ipod back to factory settings due to a youtube player error problem. it has deleted everything off my ipod inculding my music and payed for applications. when i go to download them again it tells me that i have to type in my account password and it will bill me for whatever the price is? how do i get them back.....

your ipod should recognize that you previously bought it if you restored from backup

No that's not true go to your iTunes store and download the thing that your purchased you don't need to pay for it again because you have already purchased it already on your account or download the newest version of the app. =)

You type your password in, and it will come up with a message that says "you have previously purchased this item, please press ok to receive this item for free". I've tried it and I'm very sad they didn't do that for music too.
