I plugged in my 1.1.3 jb iPod touch to recharge it and add some songs but when iTunes opened it said I had to restore my iPod. I hadn't even put it in restore mode, it just popped up like that in iTunes. Also, I had been using my iPod with no problems. So, I'm wondering whether I can get my iPod out of restore mode, keep my 1.1.3 jb, and my movies and songs without having to restore to 1.1.1 and then having to go through the whole process of jailbreaking again.

Is the iPod showing up in restore mode itself? Or is it just iTunes that is recognizing it has being in restore mode?

Download ZiPhone or iLiberty+ and kick it into normal mode. If this is successful reboot it, if it boots back into recovery mode again, I have a fix.
