I just restored my iPod to 3.0 firmware; But now iTunes shows a picture of the connect to iTunes logo with the battery charging icon in the corner. iTunes doesn't recognise it even though I am connected to it. Can anyone help me?

What should I do from here?

something similar once happened to me when i upgraded from 2.2 to 3.0. If you plan on jailbreaking, i'd go ahead and use redsn0w 0.7.2 or .8 and see what happens. itunes should recognize it after it's jailbroken w/ redsn0w

lol, I tried DFU restoring and downgrading to 2.2.1 again, and this time I get error 20. Any tips on what to do? [this time it is in recovery mode]

    EDIT

lol NVM. I have no idea what happened.

Anyways, I finally managed to upgrade to 3.0 - I downloaded the latest iTunes, and just restored. After restoring it went back to the connect to itunes screen (but with the battery indicator there); I kinda thought well.. back to square 1 - then it goes to sleep and when i turn it back on, its back to the normal home screen, Quick check and spotlight is there

DFU mode ftw lol. I'll JB this baby soon
