Hey, I hope you're not bothered because of me xD

    So my Question:
Should I restore my iPod Touch or wait for any hope?

I stuck in recovery mode and tried everything, but nothing helped. I also searched 2 days all forums in the entire internet, asked some friends, which also have iPods and iPhones and nobody know what to do else, except restoring.

And to make the problem even bigger, when my iPod was in Cydia it said:"This device has SHSHs on file for iPhone OS: 3.1.3".
So that means I missed the deadline, what Jay Freeman (saurik)already said on Feb 4th. (Thats because I bought my iPod one week ago)

    So I couldn't restore to 3.1.2, only to 3.1.3.
Now my iPod is just a paperweight until i restore.

Should I restore or would it make the situation worse?
Because I really want a jailbreaked iPod, because of some apps.

Additional Question: Is there something I should do while I have FW 3.1.2? (e.g. some files with any programme etc.)

Open it up, take the battery out, put it back in, and then see if it's still stuck in recovery mode.

Just a suggestion, I don't know much about the hardware of iTouch's though.

If you open up the back, there must be a way to reset it?

    You can open it up.

I personally would just restore. I wouldn't want to wait that long.

I would just restore too. Honestly the only thing I would miss if I had to restore and not able to jailbreak was the ability to have themes. All the apps I use on a regular basis, I have paid for. Plus I would hate to have my touch just sitting there.
