Finally, I'd like to know that I have to restore or update my iTouch to firmware 1.1.4, before using the ziphone 2.6b to jailbreak? (I'm on 1.1.2 JB now)

I suggest restoring to 1.1.4 to get rid of that 1.1.2 Jailbreak.

Better to have only 1 Jailbreak so they don't interfere with eachother.

Most people that have upgraded to 1.1.4 then JB get some sort or bug, like the keyboard freezing.

Restoring first usually solves any chance at a problem.
