K, my iPod has been doing the same thing.

There is an easy way to get it working again.

    Download iBrickr: http://cre.ations.net/creation/ibrickr

Then, plug your iPod in, extract the iBrickr folder, and open up ibrickr.exe .

When it's open Click the first option which is something like "boot". If the screen on your iPod turns red after this, it will begin the booting process and be back in no time. If it's green, then there is something very wrong and NEEDS to be restored in iTunes.

Well, it should be less than a minute.

Be sure to leave the iBrickr program open while it's doing this.

    I would try again.

    Hmmm...that is strange.

Try doing a reset of the iPod by holding down home and sleep at the same time until it starts to restart itself. It should still go back to recovery mode. Then try again.
