restor error

    is anyone experiencing an error in itunes following the last step of the jailbreak? the progress bar gets to 100% then itunes says "unknown error error 6" any ideas?

    error 6 means your iPod wasn't prepped right

    i set it up exactly as the tutorial says. any suggestions?

    im following what quickfreedom is telling me im not sure what thats considered.

    Retry with redtool or another GUI if quicktether isn't working

    ahh alas success.. i think it had something to do with the custom boot screen because i retired and unchecked the custom box and it seems to have worked. any ideas as to why this would make a difference? i would like to have a custom boot but im just glad it finally worked at this point. thanks for the help by the way

    Perhaps the bootlogo needed transparency
