    Hey everybody

I didnt know where to post this so im just posting this here. I was in the middle of uninstalling mquickdo, and my ipod touch 3.1.2 all of the sudden turned off and restarted, and then shortly after, turns off. If plugged into itunes, it continually restarts and then turns off and restarts... automatically. I have a lot of files id like to save from the ipod. Is there a way i can ssh or get these files by another method, while my ipod is in this state? Is there a way to reverse whatever i did? I have not put it in recovery mode yet, its still in this restarting state.

    Thanks,
    Avery

iTunes automatically makes a backup of your ipod when you plug it in (as long as you dont cancel it)

So if you restore, you should be able to return to iTunes backup that it made. For the normal Apple stuff. The Jailbroken data probably isnt backed up.

You could probably SSH into it and get some files out too.
