I'll try this again. I posted yesterday that I now own my sons Itouch. But he has it password protected and the codes he has given me are not working. How to I get into the itouch without losing his music and apps?

    Thanks for the advice.

    You can't.
    Restore it.

Your son is obviously lying to you! Why would he forget the passcode to a VERY expensive piece of equipment? Just take it away from him. If he misuses it once, whats to stop him from doing it again? (Kids are smart, he'd find a way to delete browsing history, or install an app that will require a different password for certain apps, ect.) Rather than trying to find out what's on his iPod, just talk to him. Tell him whatever it is that he did was wrong. And just take his iPod away for a time. If he does it again, take it and return it to wherever you bought it from (After restoring it, of course

All you have to do is restore it using the computer it's synced to and all will be fine.
