Request: Tv Remote Control App

    if you can remote control your computer with the iPod, it seems like the next step would be a universal tv remote!

    This wouldnt be possible in the same way this was not possible on the new psp slim. there is no IR port. On the old psp fat(1000) this was only possible because the IR port. There never was a reason for the ir port until teh homebrew remote so it was removed on the new psp slim(2000)

    then how does it work as a remote to your computer? for itunes and all that stuff?

    it uses wifi and your router, its not so much as a remote as a controller. They use two totally different types of signal. The same way you couldnt use your television remote for your computer.

    that would be sick, you could probably do the engadget thing on the touch anyway, but an actual app would be best

    you might be able to make it in to a app if you got all the sounds for you tv and all that then made app out of it
