You all know, there is a "buzzer" in iPoT.

It seems to be able to play 12 notes, so if we can hack it, isn't it possible to "play music(or midi)" with it?

    any ideas?

I agree! Hack the alarm sounds and play music!

I agree! Hack the alarm sounds and play music! I just know this thing has a little speaker on it, I think it's up in the front upper left hand corner, in bright daylight you can see a small dot up there and if you listen when the alarm goes off it comes from that area.

It is a piezo buzzer. It cannot play music, but it can play very simple sound sequences with one note at a time.

And what for should we plat music with this crappy speaker? Anyway, the idea of selecting songs as an alarm clock is great. I would dock my ipod to my yamaha pianocraft and alarm from normal speakers is great idea.

Thats not true. You can rig a peizo speaker t play different kinds of music files. All ipods have piezo speakers.
