    sup.
Now, I know this sounds outrageous, but just think about it: as much space as you could ever want for music and apps. My idea is that there is an app to go along with it. Whenever you run the program and the dongle is connected, the app would backup the original filesystem and create/symlink a new file system to the dongle attached through the USB input.
    thanx in advanced,

P.S. please, tel me imidiatly if this is way too crazy of an idea.

It would take forever to backup the filesystem. For this to work you would have to plug it in, wait about 3 hours, then do your stuff. With a big chance of failure.

No, i didn't nesasarily mean back up, but move the whole file system to a new location still on the ipod. it would still fit because the new file system would be on the harddrive. an even better idea is just to use it for music/videos. this could work because we could run swaptunes so that the music is backed up in seconds, then symlink the itunes_control file to the empty harddrive and sync the new music.

P.S. I do know I spelled nesasarily wrong
