Samsung just never gives up. It's quite an idiotic reason to sue Apple just over LTE connections, when Apple already has it on the iPad...

Samsung owns like 12% of the LTE patents. If the new iphone infringes on any of those patents why shouldn't they sue?

Apple is too powerful a company. Probably half of the court that they will debate this issue at (if it ever happens) will own the iPhone 5 :p

...why? They're going to get counter-sued and owe Apple more money, over a technology they don't even entirely own... You can't sue a company for using a technology destined to be used, and already integrated, into a cell network.

Exactly. I think Samsung should sue, loose another 1B, and then let them figure out that suing Apple isn't such a good idea. :p

In all honesty, when will Samsung learn? o_O They are not Apple, and will never replace Apple. Apple and Samsung are completely different. I am not exactly a fan of Samsung, but their phones and laptops are pretty cool. If a horse falls into a hole once, it will learn to avoid the holes. Samsung smh...

Just one thing - the article misses the vital information. Why? Why will Samsung immediately sue Apple (after they forgot with the iPad) when an iPhone is released containing LTE?

On the other hand, this sounds quite childish from Samsung.

They won't be suing over the "entire" technology, they'll sue over the patents they're infringing on if there is any.
