I'm not programmer so I couldn't do this but, It would be cool to have this.

Basically, it would be like Fast Notes only it would have a drop down box to pick a contact and then a send button that would send the text. Possible? I would guess that it should be.

I just find it a hassle to have to go into the App every time I get a text.
    Anyone that can do it?

    Practical Uses
Replying to texts while not having to exit out of non-backround apps like Pandora for example.
If your sneaky, like me, and you text during school, you can do it fast while you listen to music ect. without the teacher seeing.

    My idea,
    -Chris

Although i don't have an iPhone, but, i think it would be a great idea. No need to close the application your using to answer a text. Nicee.

True. But if you are listening to, lets say Pandora. Instead of having to close it a stop the stream, you could just reply right from there. (Backrounder makes my phone run slow so thats not an option.)

I also thought about this. From what I know about the OS and the way its built, I believe that would require a little more Springboard modding. But also a possibility.

This is a great idea! I hate having to stop playing a game or close safari just to reply to a text. This would be great!

Even just adding the ability to reply to an SMS from that pop up box you get when you receive a text would be great!

I hate the alternative SMS apps. Most of them require payment to get full functionality and most of them are "crap." I only use MySMS to forward messages when I need to.

@Stephen.4 : Sorry I misuderstood what you said.
