    Hey...

I am going to get a replacment, but is wondering if they give you a brand new or refurbished one. I did not exchange it from Apple but KRCS...Anyone heard that? I rang them and they said it's brand new, but I don't exactly trust them.

    What you guys think...Opinions please.

    Thank You

Usually a refurb, but you wouldn't be able to tell it wasn't new.

Check for scratches on the back of the iPod.
Usually there are always some very minor scratches on the back of an used iPod.

Confirmed: Just rang them and said they give you a brand new one.
Why are there rumours about giving you a refurbished one for replacements then?

It just matter the store you go to. Personally, I would want a Refurbished one, because they go under more scrutiny then new ones.

If you are buying refurb Apple products, make sure you get them directly from the Apple store (online) and not through a third party. The ones that come directly from Apple are just like brand new IMO.
