Well, I'm going to the Apple Store today because for some unknown reason my volume rocker and sleep/wake button stop working effectively. I have to press REALLY hard for them to respond. And I did not drop my iPod in any way and it has had no contact with anything like that. I also tried restoring with completely normal factory settings 221 firwmare but the problem still persists. So I was just wondering, since I'm going to the apple store today HOPING for a replacement iPod, do you think they'll replace it? or will they attempt to "fix" it?

    Thanks IPTF

BTW if you jailbroke it make sure you restored it and put everything on it except for apps, elseway they will suspect something.

you need to DFU mode restore for all traces of a jailbreak to be gone

and make sure you dont replace a backup that had jailbroken data on it. some of it (like numeric battery) can stay on your device. im pretty sure they will replace it for you if its under warranty.
