Ok, so I pre-ordered my iPod Touch 4th Gen the first day, and I got it but my mic died. So I went to the store and got a replacement... This one has the light leak near the bottom volume control.

As long as you can prove that there's a problem, they should take it off you.

But is it really worth it? I mean come on...unless you can see the light with brightness <50% in daylight, what's the point?

Would YOU really want an iPod with a defect?? That's the point.

My new touch HAS the light leak "defect". I wouldn't dream of taking it back.

Ok, well I guess some people are alright with having something wrong their $300+ device. In my opinion, I like my device to work and look properly.

You could if you want. But you gotta go there, back up your stuff, re sync the new device, etc there's too much work for just Light Leak.

If I could magically switch it with a new one I would, but it's just not worth my time to exchange and resync it.
