First, what is the registry called on the touch?

Anyway, I have an idea for something, but I need to remove all trace of a program from my ipod with out restoring.

Basically, it's a program with a trial, and I need to reset it.

I will report on what I have found if someone could show me how to do this.
    Thank you

There is no registry in Mac OS X, which is what the iPod touch and iPhone run.

There are however preference files (.plist) which hold an applications preferences and sometimes registration information.

These files can be found in ~/Library/Preferences, or /Library/Preferences on OS X.

On the iPhone/iPod they can be found in /Library/Preferences, or private/var/mobile/Library/Preferences.

Some may also be found within the application bundle itself, or under the applications folder within private/var/mobile/Library.

    Hopes that helps.

Well I couldn't get the trial to start over, thank you for you help though.

Anyway, This is what I found:

    Get SyncJe for free

I'll be re-jailbreaking unless someone could start the trial over for me? Thank you if you can.
