My iPod has a passcode lock that I do not know. I can SSH into it (can even change the fake carrier), but I can't figure out how to remove the lock. Please help! I have tried the other guides, but they don't work. I don't want to restore!

    Do you have sbsettings???
If you do I heard that you hold down the lockbutton until the powerslider appears along with the status bar. Just open sbsettings and respring.

Why don't you give your iPod back to it's owner?

if its really your ipod then you can plug it in to itunes and back it up. then restore. if its not your ipod you just need to restore. i guess your going to have to do the second choice.
