I've jailbroken my 3rd gen 8GB MC-model iPod touch (3.1.2 firmware) but have decided I want to get it back to the factory default 3.1.2 firmware. How would I do this, just shift-click restore in iTunes and select firmware the file? Do I need to download a firmware file from felixbruns.de (if so do I need the iPod touch 2G or 3G file)?

    Cheers

just restore in itunes. if you don't want to re-jailbreak, you can go ahead and use 3.1.3 if you don't have a copy of 3.1.2 saved.
