Okay guys, I did search and didn't find anything...if it's been answered, point me to a thread and forgive me

With the new theme (see attachment) I'm using, my springboard is too cluttered IMO.

I want to clear ALL my icon text. I used the "No Undocked Icon Labels" and "No Docked Icon Labels" available in WinterBoard.....but they don't work, the icon text is still there.

    I'm on 3.0.1 (3GS)

Any help (on accomplishing this) would be greatly appreciated....thanks!

you have to move them to the top of the list in winterboard so they have priority over the other themes.

    No Label
    No Dock Label
    Your Theme

and to change the color of the calendar, i think that is located in the info plist, use notepad to open it, look for something that says calendar and change 'font color' (its named something like that)

    ^That.

Or you could change the info.plist to remove the labels. Just as easy to do it that way tho.

In your theme's info.plist you should have(or something like) these:

    Code:
    <key>CalendarIconDateStyle</key>
    <string>color: Black; padding-bottom: 10; padding-right: -1; font-size: 12;</string>

    <key>CalendarIconDayStyle</key>
    <string>color: Black; padding-top: 15; padding-right: 0; font-size: 8;</string>
as you can see, they are both black.

Simply change that to 'red', 'blue' etc etc. Save, respring.

    Thanks Nimrod....will try that!

Well, that's the thing, the "No Undocked Icon Labels" and "No Docked Icon Labels" ARE at the top of the list (above everything) and still don't work.

Could it be that I have "AnyCity Live Weather" theme selected..it might have it's own .plist that is not be overwritten

Okay, I have my AnyCity Weather theme selected, but in the info.plist it has this (in red)

    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
    <!DOCTYPE plist PUBLIC "-//Apple Computer//DTD PLIST 1.0//EN" "http://www.apple.com/DTDs/PropertyList-1.0.dtd">
    <plist version="1.0"><dict>

    <key>DockedIconLabelStyle</key>
    <string>color: transparent</string>

    </dict></plist>

It's showing that the labels 'should be' transparent..but they're not

Guess it's not working then.....I put both No Undocked Icon Labels and No Docked Icon Labels at the top of the WinterBoard list, as well as my AnyCity Weather Theme and nothing seems to work...damn! this blows LOL

    Thanks anyway though.....

Delete the one from the AnyCity plist

take off the 'No Undocked Icon Labels and No Docked Icon Labels' from WB

and in your theme plist change them to:

    <key>DockedIconLabelStyle</key>
    <string>color: transparent</string>

    etc.

    try that.
