On my iPhone 3g I installed 4.0 and jailbroke with redsn0w. When I jailbroke I selected both multitasking and home screen wallpaper. But not I have heard that home screen wallpaper slows down my iphone, so how can I remove it without having to rejailbreak,or losing multitasking.

Go back into redsn0w, and uncheck "Install Cydia" and whatever it says for backgrounds.
