I jailbroke my friends IPod Touch 2G a week ago. He came back today I restored his IPod to OFFICIAL firmware, also restored settings from the backup that i did early today, I thought itunes backup only official apps not jailbroken things, but his name on left side and numeric battery is still there, and we can change it between numeric or battery icon easily, except this everything is working fine. even tried restaring 3x, it auto restarts without any problems.

How to check if it's still jailbroken? there is no Cydia or Installer.
Is it dangerous or it ok?

The backup doesn't back up apps it just back up iPod setting, app settings, and game saves. So if you want to get rid of it you have to restore but don't use a back up.

If he ever wants to return it he has to restore or else apple will know when they see the numeric battery.
