I have a bunch of questions regarding webapps, any help is greatly appreciated.

    1. Is it possible to remove the "X" that appears on the webapp icon when in wiggle mode?
    2. Is it possible to turn a webapp into an app?
3.How do I create an app that automatically directs me to a Safari page when launched?
4.How do I create an app that contains a link to a Safari page?

    Thanks

I gots an answer to 3. Go here.

I think you need SSH. I'm not so sure about which firmwares its good on but it seems fine on my 1.1.1 and my uncle's when it was at 1.1.3 and 1.1.4.

For number three, you can use the SDK.

    Hi,
Thanks for the link, but I think I am having some problems installing the app. So I created and downloaded the app but I don't know where to put it (through SSH). I use both WinSCP and iPhone Browser. Could you tell me the folder in which to place the app?
    Thanks again

For #1, YES kind of... Navigate to /System/Library/CoreServices/SpringBoard.app/ and replace closebox.png with a blank 30x29 pixel PNG file. Respring.

Its just a regular app. Put it in the Applications folder.

    1. You can make a transparent icon with photoshop or something and replace the image "closebox.png" in Springboard.app via SSH.
    2. Why? But http://www.jonsthoughtsoneverything.com/iphone_apper/

Thanks again, everything is working great. Reputation added.
I was originally looking for this file, but personman's method seems better to me. However this will be useful for something else I'm working on. Thanks. Reputation added.
