    I've looked for a while.

    Thank you.

yeh what label. If you are talking about the 5A347 label. this is how to get rid of it.
SSH into your iPod to /system/library/coreservices. then you will see a file called SystemVersion.plist. then edit the 5A347 bit to whatever u want if u want, or just remove it. put it back in the same place, respring check settings and ur done!

The Label isn't the name of an app?

I mean the name of the app appearing in the screen...

He means by Crash Bandicoot the "Crash Kart". The label under the Icons.

nope, unless you plan on modding the info.plists of all of the apps to " ", which is ridiculous. also, that would require all of your icons to have the same name " ".

don't try it. just wait untill saurik updates winterboard to include that feature. shouldn't be long

ohh if u want to change the name, thats easy
if you want to change the default apps, go to this directory
    /system/library/coreservices/springboard.app/english.iproj/localisedapplicationnames.strings.
    then edit.
if you want to edit the name of the appstore purchased apps, go to /var/mobile/applications/random coded name/app/info.plist and find the name of it then change it
