is there a way to do this?

Why would you want to do this? AppTapp hosts Installer so if you remove it, you won't get any updates for installer. It also has a lot of other good apps in its repo. There's really no point in doing this.

basically, i feel my app list is cluttlered. if there's an update to installer, i'll add the apptapp source temporarily. the apps on there that are not on repo.sc, aren't really useful to me.

as i stated already, i would like to use repo.sc exclusively, except for temporary updates.

There is a package in installer (on BigBoss's source) that removes it.

    But if you remove it...

You are not paying then back for their hard work on installer.

thanks for the help/advice Ezra, but i couldn't find it on BigBoss' repo or his Beta... maybe i'm just blind?
do you know what it's called?

You shouldn't remove AppTapp Official, because I don't track that one on repo.sc and there are some good packages on AppTapp Official

The package you're looking for is probably iLM / Jason Kit, which can swap in and out of installer caches / sources... or so I heard. I don't have an iPod Touch to test it anymore :/

@Andy: yea i know you don't host those apps... but if there's a new good one, the forum will have like 4 threads dedicated to it, and i'll temporarily readd it, or ssh it in. (thanks for an awesome service, btw)

@khoas: it's like 95% of the listed potential install apps... i like running tight ships...

i've already addressed what you've said. i advise you to read a thread before you post in it.

it's also not like it's a permanent thing. if there's an update i can temporarily add it for the update.
