OK, here's the story, my cable and headphones that came with the iPod is broken, as of now my iPod is standing on 50% charge (off) and there is no way to charge it. I want to bring the cables into an Apple store and get it replaced under warranty, but I'm afraid they will want to check my iPod for Jailbreak (they check serial number I think), and it will be fishy if I said I didn't bring it.

My iPod is obviously Jailbroken, I got a iNav based theme and loads of Jailbroken goodies (sbsettings, bossprefs etc..), now here's the question

How do you make it look like all those things have not been there, without restore (no cable), and make it easy to get back all those things after my little trip to the Apple store.

    Thanks for any comments!

P.S. I can't use anyone else's cable that I know of. Please don't ask why.

They're right. They won't check your iPod. But if they want your iPod, borrow a friends cord and restore. Not that big a deal to rerestore now with redsn0w...

u can actually restore it from the ipod itself, if u go into Settings>General>Erase All Content and Settings

Hide all jailbreak apps, then use SBSettings to unhide them when you are done.

if you have sbsetting, then go to more, hide icons and turn off/on all icons you want. YOU MUST FIRST DO THIS: go to winterboard and uncheck all themes/mods you got on. the do the sbsetting part.

I think this is the best way to let it look unjailbroken

    1. Check for any Cydia application you have installed, if it left any files because they do not get removed upon a restore.
    2. As soon as you are pretty sure you have cleaned all the files and / or folders that Cydia / Cydia applications left, you may restore and return it back.

Examples of applications that do that:
    AptBackup
    xGPS (saved maps)
A few more that I forgot..

well if you really want to delete all cydia apps then download CyDelete and go to settings and change the setting where you can delete Cydia so if you really really want to now use cydelete and delete cydia i would never do this lol but you just might
