    I just bought this one.

    http://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.11592

    For 5 friggin' dollars.

Trust me, it works like a charm. Tracks control, volume control, play & pause.

    Only 3 gripes about it.

    A) Feels cheap & easily get prints & smudges. But hey, can't complain. You get what you you paid for. 1/10 of the price of Apple's remote. Which doesn't even work with the touch. See if you can figure the logic in that.

    B) If you plug the headphones to the remote, the sound quality is extremely poor. So it must be plug directly to the touch. Sucks because now you'll have 2 wires running through the iPod.

    C) I use it in my car. Sucks I can't charge at the same time. But not the remote's fault at all.

These to me are only minors flaws. But the pros outweighs the cons. Which is you can't control the iPod without taking it out of your pocket or when you're eye is paying attention to the road. I use it daily & don't know if I can go back to not having it.
