Do you remember when redsn0w lite was released?
    Were you excited?
What was your reaction when you found out it came out?
Were you upset it was tethered?

Do you feel that jailbreaking isn't as fun as it was then?

I think so, because when you had to jailbreak via command prompt and you FINALLY got it to work, I felt like I really worked hard to get it! Now you just press a button, and it does it all for you! =(

As a first time iPod touch owner (2nd gen) I was keeping up with all the latest developments. The only reason I bought an iPod was all the cool stuff possible with device via jailbreak. I recall showing off all the cool stuff I could do: (lighttpd server, c*******, themes, emulators, etc) Of course I don't think any of my friend even understood what I was talking about half the time. However recently I've gone for weeks without checking Cydia. And I've never really used it for Apps, (Nova was awesome though). So its been relegated mostly to music.

Since the 3rd generation has come around us 2nd generation user may tend to feel a bit jaded. Just like the generation before us did upon our arrival. Also the fact that to jailbreak it only takes a click and 30 second instead of a healthy bit of cli.

I remember the Cyw00d helper. And the 10.5.4 IOUSBFamily Kexts. I got a Kernel Panic, then panicked an reinstalled OS X.

    What a fail.
