Most of us saw the app called Wi-Fi sync earlier when the developer released a demo video. Well, now it's out...but not in the AppStore (surprise?). You can find this app for $10 in the Cydia store.
And here's the video if you haven't seen it yet. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rZ7xn86Zwyo

The developer says this app is compatible with OS X Leopard 10.5 and 10.6 and a windows version is coming soon.

I hear that it's ineffective at syncing and that personal information is sent out during the sync.

I would use it maybe if it was free, I'd probably still stick with usb since it's charges my ipod aswell.

yeah... wifi-syncing would just murder the battery life, don't you think.

and yeah, I agree with austers, i do like it when its putting my favorite songs on and charging.

Okay, here is some info about this (from my experience):
The sync is super slow, you can't really sync stuff through this...
But here's the good things, the app allows more than syncing your device through wifi, it allows to any app to recognize the device as connected!
I mean, I could also use DiskAid with this (I know all the idea of DiskAid is to SSH through cable so this is stupid, but all I wanted is to check if this is working)
But here's the most surprising thing, when I opened Spirit, it recognized my device!
Of course I did not press the jailbreak button, but maybe I'll try this later, anyway, maybe this is the future, jailbreak through wifi!
