My question: Can we ssh other apps in now that ssh is available?
w8 this is for appstore?
------------------double post merged------------------and ssh is already available for jailbreak......
This is for app store which means no need to jailbreak. Will this work though?
Nope. 2.0 FW requires a signature in order to use the Apps. Unsigned apps don't run correctly. Pwning an iPod bypasses that requirement by, I believe, faking the signatures.
Oh, that explains it. It would be cool if there was a way to bypass that requirement.
Yeah... but I'm positive that Apple would never, and I mean never, allow the release of such an Application.
Haha, but its there right now. I don't know how to link to them but its on iTunes store right now.
This is a SSH client, not OpenSSH. So no it does not replace the jailbroken possibilities.
It lets you send commands to other SSH servers, not use SSH on your ipod as a server.
just read above posts

Yep, SSH is just a Terminal protocol, in iPhone it been used to get access to command line, because putting SSH server is faster (quicker to port on unix-like system) then making terminal app :>
But if you have app on JB iPhone/iPod you can use it to connect iPhone SSH server by typing IP: 127.0.0.1 Please Register or Log in to view images
