    My question: Can we ssh other apps in now that ssh is available?

    This is for app store which means no need to jailbreak. Will this work though?

    Nope. 2.0 FW requires a signature in order to use the Apps. Unsigned apps don't run correctly. Pwning an iPod bypasses that requirement by, I believe, faking the signatures.

    Oh, that explains it. It would be cool if there was a way to bypass that requirement.

    Yeah... but I'm positive that Apple would never, and I mean never, allow the release of such an Application.

    This is a SSH client, not OpenSSH. So no it does not replace the jailbroken possibilities.

    It lets you send commands to other SSH servers, not use SSH on your ipod as a server.

    Yep, SSH is just a Terminal protocol, in iPhone it been used to get access to command line, because putting SSH server is faster (quicker to port on unix-like system) then making terminal app :>

    But if you have app on JB iPhone/iPod you can use it to connect iPhone SSH server by typing IP: 127.0.0.1
