Ok, so this is a little app i made this morning, with a request from a friend.

What does it do? It saves your power, when you need to. Open it and it will detect what you need done, and do it for you. Open it when your burning power, and it will power save. Open it when you are power saving, and it will set you back up to normal.

    What it does:

    Power Save
    1. Disable Wi-Fi
    2. Disable SSH
    3. Set volume down to 10 percent
    4. Pause MobileMusicPlayer, if it's running
    5. Set your screen brightness down to minimum

    Un-Power Save
    1. Enable Wi-Fi
    2. Enable SSH
    3. Set volume to 70 percent
    4. Set your brightness up to full

I attached a zip file with the app in it. Download it and run:
    Code:
    chmod 755 /Applications/PowerSave.app/PowerSave

Hope this helps you guys! And remember to report bugs here!

    KNOWN BUGS:
    1. Settings brightness slider doesn't change after brightness power save
    2. Volume HUD doesn't disable correctly for some people
    3. SSH can seem a little buggy after turning it back on, working on that now

    Thanks,
    John

cool, but ive heard with the ssh enabling/disabling, you have to restart for it to take effect. and restarting usews up heaps of power. it'll be good if you release a similar version of this app that left ssh alone

also, how can these work in conjunction with each oter:

Set volume down to 10 percent
    Pause MobileMusicPlayer, if it's running.

so if your listening to music, then does it pause the music, or turn the volume down to 10%

I must say, this is a very useful application.

I would usually do all this myself, manually, although this application will do this automatically for you!

    Very well done!

Constructive criticism is also key to becoming a good developer.

Although, I don't have to mention any constructive criticism here.
