Finally, you can get rid of MobileSafari.

OpenOpera is a neat little hack recently released in Cydia. It allows you to open links from other applications directly in Opera Mini, rather than Safari, so you don't have to copy-paste the link from the app into Opera.

The solution's a bit inelegant at the moment; clicking a link opens Opera, but you have to tap on the URL field and then hit "Go" to go to the actual website. But hey, it works! It also comes with an SBSettings toggle, in case you need to view something in Safari.

NOTE! I have absolutely nothing to do with this hack. I didn't work on it, I don't know the person who made it, nothing like that. So don't ask me questions about it.

Sweet. I despise Safari with a passion so I'm going to download this now.

Thanks, I hate apple for not letting you choose your default browser.

Thanks, this lets me ditch safari completely. Opera is quicker, shorter startup, more user friendly, and doesn't hang in the background after you close it.

All we have to do is to fix the font, play default videos, and multitouch feature.
