Here is the New theme called: Modern. It now features 9 categories. Make sure that when you make the categories you name them as instructed below. The theme includes 6 different icons for "Emulators"

    INSTRUCTIONS:
1- go into categories and make a new one called "Applications"
2 - pick any icon you want (it doesnt matter!)
3 - place all of your applications into this new category4 - after finishing with "Applications" make another new one called "Games"
    5 - pick any icon
6 - put all of your games in it
7 - Make a final category called "Media"
8 - Put all of your media into it
9- Make 5 more called "Connect", "Customizes", "Utilities", "Other", and "Emulators". Put your apps into these categories.
9 - Go into customize or if your on 1.1.4 just re-arrange.
9 - Arrange your applications in the right order:
you first put a category, then you put 3 blank apps, just keep repeating this process: category, blank, blank blank, etc.
10-Put 3 dock icons, and make them Photos, Calender and Videos(or whatever you want)
    11 - Respring and enjoy!!!
EDIT: MAKE SURE THAT YOU NAME IT "Customizes" WITH THE S.
Also, the dock does not work properly with 1.1.4. Im not sure why it doesnt work. If somebody knows how to fix it, then could you please tell me!

    Thanks and Comments are welcome!

EDIT: Make sure that when you make the categories, that each one starts with a capital letter! ex. "Applications" not "applications"

Looks good. I'm not a big categories theme fan though. Keep up the good work

And I'm not exactly sure it matters what you name the category, if you're going to hide the icon labels anyway...

the naming of the categories matters because in the actual "Icons" theme folder, it wont properly match up the correct icons. so if you put lower case you wouldnt get any icons that included text. i hope that made sense

Oh ok. So instead of placing the icons in the Categories folder, you made the apps change icons when you use the theme. That makes sense

yeah, i could have done it with categories, but some people might have trouble adding the icons to categories

they just bring up a black screen, and then you can just push home to return to springboard. if you use blank apps, remember to set permissions to 755 or 0777 otherwise you're going to have to restart your iPod every time you go into them by accident!!
