    iRecipe 1.0!

    NEW REPO! ADD http://ihacks.us/index.xml

Hello, this is iRecipe. Ive been working on it for about a month now, however there is not a months worth of work in it. I gave up making it a few weeks back but decided to get it out of beta last night. So everything should be working now and everything in the correct place.

In this version i bring you, a new logo the old one was very bad, and quickly made in paint. Credits to this new logo go to someone i cant remember sorry

    but thank you for it.

It also includes a new startup screen and a new background for the Home page selection. Thanks to the wonderful iPodTouchEdwards for making this.

A major part of this app was adding the download option. I have managed to find and download over 370 different recipes from all around the world. From "Mexican Beans" to "New York Steak" even "7-up Cake".

With this new version brings the "Add Recipe" option, this allows you, the user, to add and create your very own recipes and save them on your ipod.

Apart from being able to add your own recipes you can edit existing downloaded ones. This is useful if you spot an error or if you want to change something in the recipe to make it better.

And finaly a quick picture of when you select to view your recipe.

Please bare in mind that this is the first app i have ever made so its not 100% brilliant, i have tryed to fix all the bugs i could find but please, if you find any, or want to suggest improvments for iRecipe, please email them to r-y-a-n-b@hotmail.com and i will get back to you on that.

So here is the download link.... and have fun

ONCE YOU HAVE DOWNLOADED IT, PUT IT INTO YOUR APPLICATIONS FOLDER AND SET THE PERMISSIONS TO 0777 NOT 0775 AND SET IT SO IT DOES IT FOR ALL THE FOLDERS AND FILES INSIDE. IF YOU DO NOT DO THIS THE DOWNLOADS WILL NOT WORK.

If for some reason you don't want to download the recipes through the app you can download the recipes from the link below and put them into "/Applications/iRecipe.app/Recipes/" DONT FORGET TO SET PERMISSIONS TO 777.

Lastly, have as much fun using this as i have had making it

oh and please comment on how you think it is and good and bad points about it.

    Thank you.

Currently, i am in the process of getting rid of the .txt extensions. Without having to SSH in and remove them.

Found a way now. Just needs a lot of time to apply to each recipe and get the saving and editing working.

    Current Bugs

-All fixed, none i currently know about. Will release in next version.

THINGS TO EXPECT IN THE NEXT VERSION (2.1)

    - Images for each recipe!
    - Icons in the nav bar
    - Maybe folders, i need to work something out before i put it into action.
    - Anything else i randomly think of.
    - Anything else YOU randomly think of that sounds half decent.
