yep you will run as an extra windows/application
BTW: What are you still doing in vista upgrade to 7!
Haha thanks for the help guys, I'll try this tomorrow. . Have you guys installed OpeniBoot with Linux before? If so, I hope you don't mind me PM'ing you.
im trying right now and its just a few lines of copypasta
this guide is really useful : http://androidalot.com/modding/how-to-install-android-on-an-iphone-2g/
Installing it via a virtual enviroment does not work, it must be through a Live CD or installed on a hard drive.
Guys, Ubuntu isn't hard to install at all. On the Ubuntu site, there should be a download that automaticlly installs it on a separate partition: no CD's needed(I installed it this way, was quick and easy).
actually, it does work through VM, the windows guide i posted uses it an has no problems...
Oh strange, some people reported they couldn't get it working because of it being virtualized.
working on installing now... Ill let you guys know in an hour or so.
UGH! Wish this were available for 2G iPod touch. But I think im going to try this on my brothers 1G very soon! How do you remove this stuff? just through SSH and everything will be normal?
