This is a calendar for your home screen (springboard). It is for anybody who wants a semi-default apple look, or simply wants a calendar on their home screen. The calendar updates every time you respring your device. Tested on 2.x and 3.0, the theme is available on the BigBoss/Planet iPhones repo. It requires four blank icons in the center of the screen.
Update: the new version lets you use your own wallpaper as the background. It should be hosted within 24 hours.

Does it move from screen to screen as you scroll or does it only stay on the homescreen?

It is part of the wallpaper, so it stays back there no matter what page you're on. I'm looking into making it like an icon, but I'm not sure that's possible.

I love the background! It's exactly what I'm looking for, but is there a way to get rid of the calander?

The background is one of the standard iPhone backgrounds. If you can't find it, then you can download the theme and pull out "Wallpaper.png" and use it.
