    HitBoot

Hey guys, my first release of a program ever. Tested on Vista and Windows XP and it all works fine on both platforms. It runs on windows 7 however i couldnt get LibUSB to install on it and therefore it wont work.

HitBoot is not a jailbreaker. It simply means that when you have to plug in your ipod to boot it, you can just run this instead of typing it into the command line. Saving you time :)

I know that there are other programs but i just thought that i would release it anyway because there isnt much point making something and then not releasing it.

Now, READ THIS, before you start.

    - You must have the .NET framework installed. If you dont, it is included in the zip file. You will get this error if you dont have it installed.

    - You must have the c++ redistribution package installed. Again, this is included in the zip file. You will get this error if you dont have it installed.

    - You must also have libusb installed, if you have jailbroken you will already have this. But if the command line just flashes up make sure it is installed. If you install on vista you must install it in XP compatability mode. Not sure if this works on Windows 7 though.

Do not change the file names of anything. Just install the things from the "Install First" folder, and then run HitBoot.exe.

Instructions are pretty simple. Follow them from top to bottom.

Again, this is just a little something i made because its a snow day and im bored. Enjoy :)

    Does anyone have any suggestions?

Also, do you find the Copy button anoying? Would u rather it just copy straight to your clipboard without that pop up?
