    trust me i did DFU mode right. I see exactly like your screenshot.

    You must hold the HOME button longer.. try 8 or 9 seconds after releasing the power button, you can use Device manager to see if it connected in DFU mode:

    Im positive i did DFU mode right and my computer picks up my ipod but the command prompt still does not properly load.

    ok I held it a little longer and now i get itunes logo with usb cable pointed towards it. What did i do wrong this time?

    How come I see little yellow triangle with "!" next to apple recovery DFU?

    It happens after I install libusb >>

    Nice work. Looks good but I am not really in the mood to jailbreak and then have to do it all over the next morning.

    Did you do the go part and stuff? If so, just open iTunes and it will start running

    There was no mention of a go part. I'm on step 3.
