I played around with Erica's latest hack over at TUAW, but I was severely displeased with the layout of the settings. So, I took a few minutes and prettied things up (as well as getting rid of a useless iPhone only setting (GMSRSSI). And since I already had things open, I went ahead and added in the missing touchscreen calibration settings into the General Section of Preferenes. Tutorial after the Screenshots.

    Great point.
    1) the Touch Menu lets you calibrate the physical Touch Sensor. The standard is offset by 3.5 pixels, but you can edit this to suit your fat fingers.
    2) App reveal toggles the visibility of certain Apps. It will come in handy for those who want empty spots on their SpringBoards (Just duplicate an app over and over and hide it). Tapping the spots will not launch the app. Double tapping the empty spots will Reveal the apps. DoubleTap once more to hide the apps.
    3) Cloaking hides your Carrier Info/Wifi Indicator.
    4) FakeTime shows the time as 9:42 am, just like in all the Apple Screenshots. I'm not sure what the purpose actually is of FakeTime, other than taking more professional ScreenShots.
    5) New Dock lets you switch between the iPod/iPhone dock at the flip of a switch. This is the functionality I tried to emulate with my Customize Dock fix. Now it is much easier.
    6) Speakers lets you adjust the tone of the Built In Speaker. While it doesn't work on the iPod, I left it in because I want to edit some more property lists to see if I can't just get that to adjust the piezo.
    7) Usage tells you how long you've been running the iPod since the last time it was fully charged.
    8) RSSI displays a percentage of Wifi Strength (supposedly. It does display a number in place of the WiFi indicator, but I haven't actually tested it out yet).

Note, both New Dock and RSSI require a Reboot/Respring.

I've updated the zip to just rework things a little bit. My question, while I finish up this package, would you rather see the "Usage" where it is, or in the General Settings area?

Also, what are your thoughts on alphabetizing the settings?

Notice the addition of the Wallpaper setting on the main screen with the icon. If it is liked here, I will move it outof General completely. Also, I added in the Phone options for those who want to add in the Phone application. This should work in one of two situations:
    1) You already have the Phone app installed or are planning on Installing it. If it is not Installed yet, then it won't show up until Install.
    2) You created a blank app folder with nothing in it but the plist from the Phone application, as that is all Preferences is actually looking for is the bundle identifier.

i seem to have lost my dock reflection upon install of this... any ideas?

    :EDIT:

they seem to disappear and re appear randomly depending on what customize , summerboard or dock setting I'm using , and sometimes there are 2 docks stacked on eachother
