Hi, im planning on buying my iphone 4 this week and i was wondering if there was any flaws with buying the refurb. I could really use the 50 bucks i save with the refurb. Would it be just as good as buying a brand new one? Thanks

I personally have had bad experiences with refurb products. I got a refurb iPod touch 2G once and there were already plenty of scratches on the back. Also, the power button was sticky. Not very impressed.

Refurbished is generally perfectly fine. It means that one part failed initial inspection, and they replaced the part. It can even mean that it is even better quality, as it has undergone the testing twice.

In other words, go with the refurb if you need the money.

You know the ones that people trade in or dont want? They become refurbs, they just get polished and have a new hard drive but thats about it. And new battery. Nothing different think of it as "better-than-new"

If a refurb has something wrong with it, the warranty usually covers it anyway.
