ALright so, I've sent myiPod for repair today (3g), I was wondering, do I have chances of getting a 4g refurb instead of a 3g?

no, Apple will always give you a refurb of the same model as you sent in for repairs.

I don't know since when having my left channel broke is fraud, that's the reason I sent my iPod and as I saw the new one I wondered if maybe I would get that one, but yeah I don't think they would do that (tho I had a friend send a normal apple earbuds for repair and got the "new" one with mic (the first one didn't had))

haha i think he meant if you send it in in a few months with no cause. hes not saying righ tnow your commiting fraud. and no im pretty sure under no cicumstance would they give you a different model than you bought. they would lose money.

You will not get a 4g. Not now, not ever. They always have a stock of refurbished old models they use for swapping out.

besides the new 4g looks substantially different than the 3g so they won't make that mistake. You have a better chance of getting a 3g if you had a 2g.
