Ok, so that one passes, but delete the app from your Applications but keep the .ipa then try to put it back in.

    Or try to Update it.

I can also vouch for this. If the account no longer has the app "enabled" or "attached" to it, you cannot sync it or update it.

True. When you delete it, it's gone. I'm not sure about Updating though, since you're authorized to use it, and it's on both iTunes and your iPhone/iPod Touch. However, I did refunds on apps that I wouldn't care if they got a refund, like Tetris and SMB.

Also, could you still update if you TRADE apps?

why do so many people feel entitled to get everything for free?

and if you think that when you do this the dev still gets paid, you're wrong. they aren't going to be paid when Apple has to refund a customer the price of the app.

you guys are abusing a system put in to place that is supposed to be a way for Apple to provide good service to their customers when a download goes awry.

its really pretty sad that so many people object to paying developers for their work... :(

I just got emailed saying that im getting refunded £5.99 for SMB after I said that I clicked buy and expected more details about the purchase not realising one click buy was on instead of shopping cart. He said that this was a one time exception though, fair play to them for giving me the refund.

So If I dont delete SMB off iTunes and keep it on my iPod, i'll stil be able to keep it? But probably wont be able to update it?

    Hey! I got an update:

I acquired Super Monkey Ball by authorizing the game via my Friend's IPA and password. I got a refund for it, because I'm cheap. In a restore, for some reason, the game got deleted. When I restored, I could re-get the game, for free. In iTunes, the IPA says it was purchased and authorized by ME.
