Reflective Gradients?

    What I'm talking about is like in the top bar in safari, how do you do it in Ps?

    Well i dunno how to describe it, but look at the top and bottom of safari and you get the idea

    Its the same gradient repeated basically. I think thats what your getting at anyway

    nooo, its goes light at the top and in the middle.

    so it look like ur looking at a convex peice of glass

    Oh, I see what ZunePod is trying to say, you mean that glossy effect?

    It's easy to do. I won't be covering any advanced effects, but this is the basic way of achieving this.

    Create a gradient of your choosing:

    Create a white box where you want the 'gloss' effect to reside (in a layer above):

    Please Register or Log in to view images



    Then simply reduce the transparency of the white box layer:
