instead of having pages and pages of apps on my ipoT i would like to have a way to hide or get rid of the ones i dont want

example: like from the january update the stocks and the weather app, i dont use stocks
and i downloaded a new weather app that i like better but now i have those other apps that i dont use they need to come up with a way to hide them

It's not really hiding them but why don't you just put them on another home screen page? Hold down the icon and drag it over...

He said he doesn't want pages of apps, just one screen. Sorry, but if you're on 2.0 you can't. If you're jailbroken, use categories.

That works too but then he can't see them, without having to go to poof and activate it from there. Categories keeps everything organized and clean.
