    Chris, what requirments do i need in order for redtool to work flawlessly? Will it work on VISTA? Im currently on vista home premium but don't know if its 32 or 64 bit. How can i find out?

    OK Guys, I have what I would regard to as a relatively stable build. I just found one last teencie weencie bug as I typed that sentence. I'll fix that and upload a 0.95 public beta. It shouldn't be considered stable, for those that are extremely cautious, but should be usable by most :)

    Well, it is probably 32 if it's home premium. I'm pretty sure that Microsoft only made Vista Ultimate into a 64bit OS.

    hey chris very time i put it into dfu mode it says that the device malfunctioned and itunes wont pick it up...what do i do

    Hmm, that should be fine... are you trying to jailbreak or boot. Is it immediately after DFU or the next step after DFU? I'm a little confused, please be a little more specific. Thanks. Also, I'm about to release 0.95 publicly so watch for a thread for that.

    Its right after I put it in dfu mode. When I went to Itunes and it said that I had nothing connected. So I just kept going. When it says to go to iTunes and hold shift to put the custom ispw. Nothing was there. What should I do?

    You're confusing me. So, your computer doesn't recognize the iPod? If not, try repluging it in.
