Have you tried newest redsn0w? No more GM needed

I figure it's cool to put it here since this is along the lines of JB for 4.0. SBsetting doesn't work.

hey, I am getting this exact same error. I am on the final I think. I found it under library, itunes, ipod touch firmware updates, then my file iPod2,1_4.0_8A293_Restore.ipsw. What am I doing wrong? I have redsnow 0.9.5.

i downloaded redsn0w 0.9.5b5-3 and still get the same error, pointing it to the firmware from itunes, then the gm release.

Alright, so unfortunately I got into recovery mode instead of DFU. How do I get it there? I really don't want to have to go through the restore process again.
